Shipkovo

This is a spa, 18 km west of Troyan.

The mineral waters (temperatures of 21 – 24C) are good for treatment of functional diseases of the nervous system, hypertension, abdominal and intestinal, kidney and urological diseases. There is a polyclinic for balneology treatment and physiotherapy there, an open-air swimming pool and a beach, hotels with pools of their own, numerous holiday making facilities, villas, sleeping accommodations and most varied pubs, cafes and restaurants.
